Take a look at this transformation!  The new fireplace and wood work is in. The B&W in wall center channel speaker is in and so are the Bowers & Wilkins in ceiling rear speakers.  Our tech’s have been busy adding the rack and filling it with the Marantz Surround Sound Receiver, the VidaBox music and movie server and a couple of other sources. We also installed the B&W sub woofer and wired wit outdoor speakers.

One last component to arrive…The 65 inch TV will arrive and be installed the next day! The the system will be balanced and ready to go!

This is a problem we hear all the time.  To follow is a very nice solution that one of our Lead Tech’s , Andrey Pereverzev came up with.

This is a system we installed a few years ago. Recently our client came to us looking for a couple of upgrades.  New TV and better processor.  The cabinet was staying though and so we had to get creative.

First we removed the old Loewe TV.

Then we began framing a new support structure.

Then some plywood for rigidity and to block light bleed from the rear.

Now we add the Articulating Mount wall panel.

We now mount the NEW Elite 60 inch flat panel to the Articulating arm and pull it forward to meet the front edge of the custom cabinet.

Now for the electronics. Add new Krell Foundation pre/processor and a Marantz Blu Ray to the existing Rotel amp and B&W 805’s and HTM Center Channel speaker. We also replaced the Sub Woofer with a Bowers & Wilkins unit!

We made a trim piece to fill the gap at the bottom of the TV opening and here is our finished project! Looks great off and even better on! The Krell Foundation and the new Bowers & Wilkins Sub really take this system to a new and much higher level! In short…IT ROCKS!!!

Framing complete. Our wire in as well as B&W ISW4 back boxes and CWM7.5 and CWM7.3 pre mount kits.  Insulation in!

This is also the back of the room showing the B&W CWM7.3 rear speaker cut outs.

This photo show the side wall and the cut out for the B&W CWM-7.3 side speakers.

Here is1 of the 2 the B&W ISW4 Back Boxes.

These are the cut outs for the 3 B&W CWNM-7.5’s that will reside behind the Image Screen Perforated Film Screen to come soon!

Here is the trunk of wires coming into the area where the racks will be housed.

All the right features & over the top performance!

No wonder it’s a Home Theater Magazine Top Pick

Here is a quote:

“Marantz continues to be one of the performance champs of the A/V receiver category. The SR7007 expertly conjures musical magic and cinematic excitement. It also has a great feature set, spearheaded by AirPlay and other treats for the Apple-centric listener. The SR7007 is a great receiver and well worth its price.”

The equipment cabinet after. Please note the addition on the fans and the ATM thermal system.

Here is a great example of the mess left behind by integrators who just don’t care. We were invited by the wonderful home owners  to come offer advice and make the system work. We cleaned it all up, added a new receiver and more importantly we added the proper ac and thermal protection devices. These addition insure the long life and proper operation of all the components! The result is a system that sound better and no longer looks a mess. The next step is Crestron control.
